Lexington Golf and Country Club Named One of the Best in the Region
Lexington, VA (March 25, 2014) – Lexington Golf and Country Club has been named as one of the Best Golf Courses and Best Tennis Clubs by the readers of Virginia Living.
“The winning placement in Virginia Living’s Best of Virginia Readers’ Survey is a testament to the quality and success of the club!” said Jess Pagonis, Virginia Living’s spokesperson. “In each region of the Commonwealth, only three businesses per category receive this award. It is indeed a great honor.” To celebrate the winners, a special Virginia Living – Best of Virginia 2014 issue will be published in early May that will be sent to all subscribers and will also available on newsstands.
“We are honored to receive such an award by the readers of Virginia Living,” said Shaun Fronk, General Manager at Lexington Golf and Country Club. “Over the past two years, we’ve been hard at work making the club the place to be in Lexington. We’ve changed our membership structure, implemented new dining menus, added a new kids’ zone, enhanced our outdoor patio and are just opened a brand-new short game practice area. It’s nice to see our efforts are being recognized by the greater Virginia community!”
Lexington Golf and Country Club features an 18-hole, par-72 golf course designed by Ed Ault golf course nestled in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. This classical layout meanders through three streams and known for its variety of length and impeccable greens.
