Lexington Golf & Country Club to host exclusive club preview event April 30 – May 3

Lexington, Va. – From April 30 – May 3, Lexington Golf & Country Club will host an exclusive preview event as part of their 2015 membership drive, #lovelexington. This event is open to both prospective and trial members. The weekend will include opportunities to play a round of golf, participate in a golf clinic, listen to live music, and dine in the on-site restaurant.

To participate in the preview event, guests must submit an application for membership during the opening event, which is a cocktail party scheduled for Thursday, April 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in The VIew room of the club house. Participants will receive a wristband at registration that gives them access to discounts and gifts throughout the weekend.

“This event is a great opportunity to showcase all our club has to offer,” said Shaun Fronk, director of operations of Up to Par, a Lexington, Va.-based company that began managing Lexington Golf & Country Club in 2011. “We are proud of our place in the Lexington community and we hope to show potential new members all they could gain by joining the Lexington Golf & Country Club family.”

The opening cocktail party will feature a culinary display and cash bar along with opportunities to reserve tee times, register for the 9-hole mad scramble and make dining reservations for the weekend. Additionally, representatives will be in attendance to discuss hosting special events at the club and how you could have access to three Virginia golf clubs for the price of one.

For more than 100 years, generations of families have enjoyed the Lexington Golf and Country Club, a private, equity-owned club nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of central Virginia. Lexington features an 18-hole golf course known as the Jewel of the Valley, four tennis courts, a shortgame facility, a junior olympic swimming  pool, and a restaurant.
